Meet The Author: Brian Heap

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Brian Heap, a prolific author and expert in higher education. His books and articles have helped countless students and careers advisors. We at Trotman were honoured to be his publisher, and we extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Dubbed 'the guru of university choice', Brian was the best-selling author of several key higher education publications and had extensive experience in guidance work in the fields of careers, degree courses and entry into higher education. 

Brian also lectured and advised in many leading schools in the UK and in International Schools throughout Europe, the Far and Middle East, and the USA. He was a founding member of the National Association of Careers and Guidance Teachers.

Deemed ‘the most outstanding expert in his field’ by commentators and writers alike, Brian Heap’s commitment to higher education was unparalleled.
