Editorial Intern (4 month contract)

Trotman is the UK’s leading careers publisher, creating and publishing inspiring and helpful information about careers and going to university for students and professionals.
Trotman is looking for an editorial intern to join us in our Bath office from November 2021 until the end of February 2022 to update one of our annual education titles, HEAP 2023: University Degree Course Offers.
Heap 2023 is our bestselling guide to entrance requirements for degree courses in the UK and the successful applicant will be responsible for updating content for the book as instructed by the author and the editors at Trotman. The information will need to be carefully checked and all the material needs to be accurately loaded onto the book’s database.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for a career in publishing, particularly within editorial.
Key attributes and experience
The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with excellent written English skills, a keen eye for detail, some experience of text editing and rewriting, and a demonstrable interest in publishing.
They will be extremely well-organised, manage their time effectively, be able to use their initiative and be a great communicator.
They must have an excellent eye for detail, be able to write clearly and effectively and be proactive when it comes to researching updates and new information.
Salary: £15,000 per annum, pro rata
