Meet The Author: Claire Johnson
Claire Johnson is Head of Professional Development and Standards at the Career Development Institute, UK. Claire is responsible for the UK Register of Career Development Professionals, accredited qualifications, strengthening professional and ethical standards across the sector and the CPD Resources Area.
Claire Johnson is Head of Professional Development and Standards for the CDI. A Registered Career Development Professional with over 37 years’ experience in the sector she is responsible for the CDI’s accredited training programmes, acts as Programme Manager for the Careers Leader training funded by the C&EC, manages the UK Register of Career Development Professionals and the research, CPD and quality assurance aspects of the CDI’s work. She is a Quality in Careers Standard Board member and is Secretary for the CDI’s Professional Standards Committee. During a 12 year freelance career, work included writing the Level 4 Diploma in Career Information and Advice and the Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development.
Claire is a CDI and NICEC Fellow and recipient of the ICCI Distinguished Fellow Award in 2018.
