Tristram Hooley

Tristram Hooley is a researcher and writer specialising in career and career guidance. He is Professor of Career Education at the University of Derby and the Inland Norway University. He is also the author of the Adventures in Career Development blog.

Tristram’s work focuses on the intersection of career, education, technology and politics. He believes that career guidance can have a profound and positive influence on the life of individuals and help to make the world a better place. But, to make this happen, governments have to put their hands in their pockets and pay! In the light of this, much of Tristram’s work is spent helping politicians to understand why career and career guidance are so important.

He has published over 100 books, papers and articles on careers and related subjects.
