Kate Crawford-Blake

Kate Crawford-Blake is Head of Training, Research and Development and a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner at the Evolve International Skills and Research Academy. She is an experienced speech and language therapist working in schools and other settings. She is also currently doing a PhD on anxiety, autism and the intolerance of uncertainty.

Kate has been a speech and language therapist for almost 30 years, specialising in speech difficulties, autism and ADHD. Her experience has been mostly with children and young people working in mainstream and specialist schools. Kate also has experience working with adults and children in the justice system through work within prisons including assessments of autism and ADHD and as a Registered Intermediary with the Ministry of Justice.

At Evolve International Skills and Research Academy, Kate heads up the training and research offering, developing and producing high quality training for education, businesses and individuals. Kate is involved with conducting research for Evolve and for her PhD in psychology. Her PhD is looking at reducing anxiety in autistic children and young people.

Out of work Kate has always been involved in volunteer work such as a parent governor at a primary and secondary school and as a trustee for Intermediaries for Justice. Currently she is involved in a variety of organisations including Girlguiding and the magistracy.
