A helpful friend by your side

I'm so grateful for this book - I'm a primary trained teacher who went through the Scottish education system now teaching KS3/4 PSHE and leading on careers in a brand new SEMH school - I'm totally out of my comfort zone but this book has taught me so much. I really liked the style this book is written in - it feels like a friendly colleague by your side rather than an academic text. I absolutely loved the guest contributor's perspective - they were often moving accounts which really inspire and even dampen the old eyes at times!

To be picky, I found the same and different career model wheel was printed too small to read - but I will have a look online for this. I also noticed quite a few web addresses which initially, I thought I'm unlikely to access these - but it is handy to know they are there and i can't think of any other way they could be shared.

The book really simplifies everything linked to careers to make it manageable, understandable and appropriate for my SEND leaners. Equally, it drives you to ensure you are doing so much more for our young people. I'm sure that I will be dipping into this regularly for years to come.
