Essential reading if you want to get a place at medical school!

Across its 223 pages, this covers much of what all applicants need to know within its Introduction and 12 Chapters, providing the vital knowledge that is required for this competitive career choice.

To highlight, it is up to date with the news, current and future developments inside the health sector, it contains many various Tables listing the medical schools and relevant data, in-depth coverage of the UCAT test, many examples of interview questions, work experience suggestions and more!

I would have included competitiveness rates for each of the medical schools and some online opportunities such as MOOC, Bright Knowledge, Career Days, InvestIn, Springpod and HYMS Medicafe sessions. Medical Doorway (free service concerning applying for medicine abroad) was missed out in Chapter 9 as was, in Chapter 8, the 5th choice course as another option for applicants not holding any offers for medicine. I would have made a few adjustments to their Steps to prepare you for a successful medicine application and the Do It website was incorrect (should be www.doit.life) - in the Volunteering section.

These are minor points. The authors have made a highly impressive contribution to this topic. A comprehensively brilliant book!
