Clare McEwan
Clare McEwan graduated with a BA in Graphic Design and Illustration in 2000 and began her career as a freelance illustrator. In 2003, she completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Art and Design, Secondary) at the University of Central England, Birmingham and has since built a successful career in teaching.
Over the past two decades, Clare has taught A Level Fine Art, Graphic Communication and Photography, as well as GCSE Fine Art and Photography. She has extensive experience supporting both UK and international students through the application process for art foundation and creative degree courses, offering guidance on portfolio development, preparing for interviews and making the most of open days.
In 2008, Clare earned an MA in Graphic Communication from Nottingham Trent University. She is currently Head of Art at MPW Cambridge and continues to develop her own artistic practice alongside her teaching career.
