Dominic Fuge

Dominic Fuge is Head of Careers and Higher Education at Cardiff Sixth Form College Cambridge, which is part of the Dukes Education family. Its students regularly achieve among the best A-Level results in the country.

Prior to his current role, and after completing undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications at the universities of Cambridge, Edinburgh and Durham, Dominic taught A-Level Psychology, whilst also working as a special educational needs officer in a London state school. After moving to Oxford, Dominic’s roles expanded into designing bespoke careers and higher education provision for home and international students. He became ‘Head of University Engagement and Alumni Relations’, at Oxford International College, before then moving to St Clare's, Oxford (England's oldest International Baccalaureate school).

Having undertaken such a broad range of subject areas at university level, and having founded several education businesses, this has shaped Dominic’s views about just how flexible and transferable degrees can be for a wealth of different career areas and job opportunities. This has naturally influenced his approach when guiding, informing and advising school students – choose a subject area based on a combination of academic curiosity, subject passion and a consideration of the transferable skills gained.

Dominic Fuge is very well-networked, regularly running webinars and traveling to conferences and university 'fam trips' in the UK and overseas.
