Meet The Author: Emily Lucas

Emily Lucas holds the position of University Support Officer at MPW's Birmingham college. She helps students with their applications as well as supporting them with preparation for university entrance examinations.  

Emily Lucas read Medical Science at the University of Birmingham before obtaining a master’s degree in Genomic Medicine at Queen Mary, University of London. She currently holds the position of University Support Officer at MPW’s Birmingham college and helps students with their university applications, as well as supporting them with pre-admissions tests such as the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) and BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT). Emily is completing a PhD in developmental biology at the University of Southampton. Emily also teaches biology, and is the current author of Trotman’s Getting into Law and Getting into Veterinary School guides, as well as being co-author of Getting into Medical School and Getting into Dental School.
