Liane Hambly
Liane Hambly MA ILM 7 (coaching and mentoring), Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education, BA (Hons) Theology, Diploma in Careers Guidance. Member of the Career Development Institute.
Liane is an independent consultant with over 30 years’ experience in the career development field. She has supported the development of CEIAG delivery and staff capability for a wide range of organisations including several National Careers Service Prime Contractors. Liane has an excellent reputation for the design and delivery of inspirational CPD programmes at QCF levels 4 and 6, and is the lead trainer for the Career Development Institute in career theory, guidance practice, motivational techniques and telephone guidance. To date she has trained over 15,000 practitioners throughout the UK.
She has designed several large scale CPD programmes and accompanying resources, for example, the coaching approach to guidance, a train the trainers programme for Skills Development Scotland. She is author of ‘Let’s Talk Guidance’, a CPD resource which has sold internationally, and is author of the Welsh Guidance Standards and several published articles on Career theory. Prior to being freelance she was course leader in Career Guidance Studies at Nottingham Trent and Huddersfield Universities.
