Neil Roscoe

Neil Roscoe is a university guidance counsellor, science teacher and education professional with a career spanning 30 years, including seven years working internationally. He is currently based in Thailand, in a school where he has served as both a counsellor and teacher. His international experience also includes time at a leading school in Shanghai, China.

In the UK, Neil has taught at schools in Sussex, including Ardingly College and Roedean, as well as in comprehensives in his early career. Over the last 15 years, he has also specialised in supporting students applying to higher education, with particular expertise in medicine and medically related courses. His background also includes leadership roles, including as the Head of Education and Training at the Royal Society of Biology, during which he contributed articles to both of the Society’s journals as well as other journals such as Science in Parliament.

 

Neil has also served as Chair of Governors at a school in London, reflecting his wider commitment to educational leadership. His writing experience includes the development of A level Biology teaching resources and consultancy work in educational publishing. This blend of counselling, teaching, governance and writing experience underpins his ongoing commitment to guiding students toward successful university applications.
