Sue Edwards

Sue Edwards is Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for Career Development and Employability postgraduate courses at the University of Huddersfield, where she leads programmes preparing the next generation of career development professionals.

With more than 25 years' experience across education, careers and community settings, she has a long-standing interest in the transformative potential of group-based practice.

Sue is a recognised voice in the emerging field of Group Career Guidance and Coaching. Her work combines practitioner expertise, staff development and doctoral research exploring how career practitioners conceptualise and facilitate career guidance in groups. She is the creator of the Textures of Groupwork Continuum and has delivered training and consultancy for universities, professional bodies and national careers organisations, including Skills Development Scotland.

Passionate about making career guidance both accessible and meaningful, Sue's work focuses on how groups can create opportunities for reflection, shared learning and individually owned action. This book brings together her experience as a practitioner, educator, researcher and facilitator to provide a practical guide to unlocking the potential of career guidance in groups.
