Shana Kiely
Shana is an accomplished career development specialist and the Careers Leader at Challney High School for Girls, part of the Chiltern Learning Trust. With extensive experience spanning Higher Education, FE, secondary education, and the Third Sector, she specialises in NEET tracking and intervention, community partnerships, and policy alignment.
A passionate advocate for EDI, Shana is dedicated to driving institutional change that empowers minoritised communities. Their impactful work in the sector was recognised with a nomination for Provision of the Year at the 2025 Career Development Awards (CDAs). Alongside a BA in Creative Writing, Shana holds a PGCert in Career Leadership and a PGDip in Career Development.
Outside of her professional life, Shana is a mother to three spirited daughters. When she isn't driving change in education, you will usually find her out in the garden with them. And whilst she is a certified foodie who loves to cook for others, she survives predominantly on caffeine and prayers!
