Susan Griffith is a Canadian travel writer and editor based in Cambridge England, who writes books and articles for adventurous travellers. Starting with the classics Work Your Way Around the World and Teaching English Abroad, she went on to write definitive guides for the young and the not-so-young: Your Gap Year and Gap Years for Grown-ups. She regularly contributes travel book reviews to PerceptiveTravel.com and has written travel features for the Independent and Telegraph on destinations as various as the Swedish Archipelago, Rajasthan, Vienna and… Cambridge of course.
Susan is still an indefatigable traveller. She is sometimes asked which is the remotest place she has visited (Swat Valley of Pakistan), the most colourful (Papua New Guinea), friendliest (Malawi), scariest (USA) and favourite (toss-up between India and Italy).
