New academic monograph series
We are delighted to announce the launch of a new academic monograph series, Trotman Studies in Careers, Employability and Transitions, with Professor Tristram Hooley appointed as Series Editor.
As Professor of Career Education at the University of Derby and Visiting Professor at the Inland Norway University and Canterbury Christ Church University, Professor Hooley brings a wealth of scholarly expertise and an international perspective to the series. He will shape the intellectual direction and reputation of the series, working closely with Alexandra Price, Senior Commissioning Editor at Trotman Publishing. Together, they will ensure the programme reflects the most rigorous, innovative and relevant research in the fields of career education, guidance and development.
This international series will publish around six titles each year, featuring original, high-quality, research-based scholarship. Both single-author monographs and edited collections will be included, with an emphasis on:
- advancing theoretical, empirical and practice-based knowledge
- showcasing innovative and interdisciplinary perspectives
- highlighting global and comparative approaches.
The series is designed for researchers, advanced practitioners, and postgraduate students, and will primarily serve institutional and library audiences worldwide.
We are now actively commissioning new titles. Proposals are warmly invited from scholars whose work will extend and enrich the field. Please complete the proposal form attached at the bottom of this page.
